I’m 33 years old and I got an ear infection! What the heck!? My allergies have been so bad that my ears were plugged up for almost 5 days, and apparently my ear canals couldn’t handle it. It was horribly painful.

I am trying new medications for my allergies, while I wait for my allergy shots to start working. My allergy doc said I should start to see a big improvement by the time I hit 1 year of treatment, which will be in May 2012. I had better start to see improvements by then or I am going to be broke and not happy. They just prescribed 4 meds, totaling $260/month (with insurance). I picked the one that worked the best and bought it for $75 and I’m just going to have to get by without the others. I have pretty much tried most meds at this point, and these 4 meds are fairly new on the market which is why they are so darn expensive.

Luca is almost 5 months old now, and she is seriously the best and easiest baby ever. She never cries and always smiles. Always smiles. It is wonderful! I’m afraid that she is getting close to crawling though… check out this video. She is waaaaaaayyyyy to young to crawl!
