2.5 weeks in!

It's been over 2 weeks since Luca was born.  Things have been going well.  It's crazy how different it is the second time around - not nearly as stressful.  I've been enjoying having a newborn so much more this time.  I don't know if it was the fact that my delivery was so much better and now just over 2 weeks later I feel almost back to normal, or if it is just the fact that we have 'been there, done that'.  But I have to say that Luca is a different baby than Lola.  Not only do they look different, but pretty much everything is different!  I guess that is to be expected, but I really thought that having another girl, she would be similar to Lola. 

I am loving my time at home with just Luca.  I get so much done and still have time to relax.  Lola is going to school 3 days/week so there are 2 days where she is home too.  Those days have been...um, interesting.  I know Lola is still getting used to having a sister that takes some of the attention.  She had been having lots of tantrums before Luca was born, and now there are a few more, but I guess we were just so used to her having them anyway that it doesn't seem that much worse.  I think the most difficult time has been Lola's bedtime (when Ryan isn't home).  Luca seems to want to eat right at that time, go figure... Last time it happened Lola was a very good sport, so that made me happy.  We'll just take it one day at a time!
